One of the most important parts of being a church is how we take care of the community outside our sanctuary walls. Listed are some of the ways we reach out into the world.
OCWM The letters stand for Our Church's Wider Mission for which donations provide funding for the work of UCC Conference and National ministries in support of the life and work of the local church and its members.
American Red Cross The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world.
Warren Family Mission The Warren Family Mission is a non-profit organization that feeds, clothes and shelters homeless men, women and children along with offering drug and alcohol rehabilitation and after school programs all free of charge to the general public.
Someplace Safe Someplace Safe, Inc. seeks to reduce and prevent domestic violence and improve the quality of life for victims of domestic violence. We provide advocacy, education, supportive services, emergency 24-hour crisis intervention, and shelter in order to aid families. We seek to achieve public awareness and a unified community response.
Floating Five The Floating Five fund is a mission within our church which is funded by loose offerings once and month and designated donations from members and friends. It is a small mission which seeks to help people in our community who 'fall through the cracks' in regard to other programs. Most of the donations go toward food vouchers for those in need.
Adopt A School This is a mission which is still in the process of better serving the needs of local schools and their students. Donations are in the form of money and school supplies and other incidentals dictated by need.
